This makes every race weekend an attractive money-making opportunity for the hosts of the Grand Prix. This is exactly why companies invest huge sums of money to market a singular race weekend. Additionally, each penny that goes into marketing pays dividends, thanks to the current soaring popularity of the sport. This is why sponsors of the Miami GP are already putting in efforts to welcome Lewis Hamilton and Co. for the second edition of the race.

The Miami GP will commence on May 6th and conclude on the 8th. There is still a fortnight to go and the preparation for the Miami GP is in full swing for the race weekend. For starters, categorized under “Event Supporters” Dutch beverage company Heineken is making its presence felt.

Heineken is putting up massive posters across the city using their hard-earned $25.9 billion in 2022. One can assume the beverage company is more than making up for its investment by sponsoring the event. The alcoholic beverage company hired Blue Media to do their bidding as revealed by the company’s Twitter account.

“Just completed this building wrap on the @InterConMIAMI for @Heinekento highlight their sponsorship of @f1miami, which takes place May 5-7 at @HardRockStadium,” tweeted Blue Media.

According to reports, the revamping of the track includes changes that will allow more overtaking opportunities. Apart from that, the organizers built a permanent paddock club above the pit garages. The venue went under a major overhaul after the first-ever race on the Miami International Autodrome track.

Managing partner Tom Garfinkel said, “The goal we set out was to have great racing, a lot of overtaking, side-by-side racing, and the track we had last year, I don’t remember the exact number of overtakes, but there were parts of the racetrack where there was one line where there should have been the possibility to overtake, and so we weren’t happy with that.”
