Maria Sharapova may have retired from playing professional tennis in 2020, but she hasn’t disappeared from the public eye. The fashionista, who owns her own clothing line and candy company, is also an investor in many beauty and cosmetic brands. Currently, MaSha is having the time of her life watching F1 cars zoom by in Miami with her fiance, Alexander Gilkes. And at the Hard Rock Stadium, she got to meet the F1 royalty.
The qualifying turned out to be a disastrous outing for Lewis Hamilton. The Briton only managed to finish P13 after struggling with the car during the practice sessions as well. Sharapova was, however, there to cheer for Hamilton and while he did not have a good day, she definitely did.

Sharapova was clearly out there to cheer for her favorite driver, Lewis Hamilton. However, the Briton, owing to a blunder from his team, came out way too late for a final flying lap of the Q3 session. Resultantly, he failed to make it to Q3, and that put a big dent in his prospects of bouncing back after a disappointing outing in Baku.
Hamilton struggled a bit in the beginning but picked up pace as the race progressed. Mercedes‘ strategy did not do him any good either, but the Briton made the most of the situation to finish P6.
