Managing tires is an important part of racing. 6-time world champion Lewis Hamilton was heard complaining about his tires during last year’s Monaco Grand Prix. Lewis had started the race in pole position but had to encounter the problem of worn tires as the race wore on. With his tires wearing out, Lewis kept losing grip as the race progressed. However, he proceeded to demonstrate exactly why he is a world-class racer by driving flawlessly. Lewis managed his tires excellently for the remainder of the race and fought Max Verstappen to the finish line, emerging as a winner.
