Many had speculated how Charles Leclerc may not get along quite well with his new teammate at Ferrari in 2021. Though, since Carlos Sainz has arrived at Maranello, he seems to have gelled well with Leclerc. There is a good understanding between the duo on-track and off-track. But, eventually, there is a difference in their personalities. While Carlos can be quite assertive, Charles doesn’t carry his dominating racing spirit off the track. This was quite evident in the latest feature activity by Ferrari.

On the latest YouTube video by Shell, a Ferrari partner, Leclerc was left heartbroken after Sainz showed a hostile denial of his teammate’s only request. Charles stated about Carlos has never invited him over to taste Sainz’s handmade food. He said, “He [Carlos Sainz] cooks well. Pasta, No, Hamburgers. You still need to invite me to your house to cook me the hamburger.”

To this, Carlos Sainz assertively denied and said, “Yeah, but you never want to come.” The Monegasque continued the banter by saying, “You never invite me.” Carlos still had one reason to assertively justify his behavior toward Charles in this aspect. He stated, “You’re always like ‘I’m too busy’.”

Nonetheless, the Ferrari duo carried on as Leclerc was listing 3 things that he likes about Sainz. He mentioned how Carlos is a very fast driver and a very good chef and makes great pasta and hamburgers. But he also stated how the Spaniard is not as good a chess player, which makes Charles win whenever they play.

Nonetheless, the duo has been quite cool with each other’s company, despite a tough 2022 season with the Scuderia. Sainz would certainly invite Leclerc someday to cook him some pasta and hamburgers, as he has proved his cooking skills against the Monegasque already.

Ferrari had kept confusing ingredients to puzzle the duo. But only Leclerc confused himself, and Sainz kept his patience to make the dish right. Charles made several mistakes and the major one was choosing the wrong type of pasta. Meanwhile, Carlos took his time to prepare everything and correctly chose the Lunga pasta.

Leclerc may have finished his cooking first, but Sainz got the dish right and properly prepared. Eventually, Sainz won the cook-off as the judges gave him 23 points relative to only 18 for Leclerc.
