Former world champions, like Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso, are often forgotten. However, there is one person who still holds the Spaniard in high regard, and it is none other than the 1996 world champion, Damon Hill.

“Of course, Esteban Ocon was singing his praises after the Hungarian Grand Prix, and saying what a great lad he was to work with. I would think that when he was very much younger, and extremely quick and competitive, he may have been a little more difficult to work with.

“But we all live and learn and grow up and stuff. So the mature Fernando Alonso would have to be right up there on the list,” Hill concluded.
