Max Verstappen has been pushing his Red Bull to the limit this season amidst his title fight with Lewis Hamilton. However, according to team principal, Christian Horner many won’t appreciate what the Dutch driver has been doing this season.

The Red Bull prodigy has been throwing everything at Lewis this year. A recent example of his determination was at the qualifying session in Saudi Arabia, though he didn’t steal pole position from the Mercedes driver as he crashed his Red Bull in the final corner; Max showed what he is capable of.

Christian Horner feels that Max Verstappen is underappreciated in F1

The Red Bull prodigy is one of the best drives on the grid, but Horner feels that many people don’t give the 24-year-old enough credit. Showing the exceptional talent he has, he wishes that Max is shown more appreciation.

Speaking on the podcast, F1 Nation, Horner said, “I think we have had in one of our cars, up until that corner. I would think it was, but it will get forgotten about as he didn’t get finished. So it was a great, an outstanding lap, and I think that, I don’t think people realize what Max is doing in that car.”
