It’s no secret that Lewis Hamilton has been struggling from the start of the 2022 F1 season. The reigning champion has no wins to his name this year. His Mercedes team is in third place with the likes of Ferrari and Red Bull dominating the grid. But even when he’s not winning on the track, the 37-year-old shines off it with a series of stylish outfits that have been winning over fans.


In Miami, Hamilton’s outfits were certainly pleasing to the eye, but his watch collection grabbed attention. His IWC watches stole the show and interestingly, his watch collection also matches with NFL legend Tom Brady.

When you are as successful as Hamilton and Brady, there is not much that can stop you from living your best life. So when the two GOATs teamed up for a round of golf in Miami to support the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation last week, they brought the heat.

Both Hamilton and Brady showed up in versions of IWC Big Pilot’s Watch TOP GUN Edition “Mojave Desert” watch, which was Khaki-colored. The watch costs around $48,000. The Billion dollar man certainly does not mess up with outfits and the watch matched his golfing outfit.

The Mercedes driver also showed off his IWC watches during the press conference ahead of the Miami Grand Prix. Hamilton turned heads during the press conference as he wore three watches, four chains, and eight rings in a sign of protest against the FIA’s jewelry ban.

Those three watches are, of course, IWC’s brand and their recent collaboration with the Mercedes F1 team. Hamilton showcasing his watch collection will certainly please the Swiss watch manufacturers, without a doubt.

George Russell also gets a taste of IWC watches

Hamilton’s newest teammate George Russell has certainly started the season in a solid fashion. And the 24-year-old also got a taste of IWC’s stunning watch collection. The Silver Arrows’ watch sponsor did not miss the opportunity to present the entire squad with its new watch collection ahead of the Miami GP.

The IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Edition “Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team” features a grade 5 titanium case. Add to it a green strap and black dial to show Mercedes’ iconic colors. Titanium is particularly suitable as a choice of metal in wristwatches because of its exceptional corrosion resistance.
