The 2021 Monaco Grand Prix saw Hollywood star Tom Holland during the qualifying session. There was another superstar that attended the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix, the 23 Tennis Grand Slam winner, Serena Williams.

Serena Williams is the brand ambassador of Aston Martin. Above all, she even got a chance to wave the chequered flag at the end of the race.

Daniil Medvedev, World no. 2 seeded Tennis player also attended the race as he is a Monaco resident.

Serena Williams- The F1 fan

Serena Williams is an F1 fan and a good friend of 7-time F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton. The duo supports each other and frequently speaks about each other’s achievements. She can often be spotted near the Mercedes Paddock.

In 2020, during the French Open, Serena said, “Lewis and I are super close. I have known him for years. I love that guy, he is a really good friend of mine. The guy is such a champion. Such a champion in his mindset.

“What he does in training, and physically and in his job… I really have no words for it. He is, for me, the greatest driver that our generation has seen. I am confident he will break the record of Michael Schumacher, who was also a fabulous driver.”

In 2016, Lewis Hamilton said Serena has inspired him. He said, “We kind of come from similar backgrounds and have similar relationships with our parents, with the father figure being the lead.

“Growing up watching her career, I’m absolutely inspired by her and still today by her drive. She’s the greatest athlete of our generation.

“I’m absolutely mesmerized by what she has achieved and definitely inspired by her as an athlete and as a human being — so I’m trying to learn from her.”

It is great to see the two greatest of all time sports persons speaking of each other so highly and becoming inspirations for each other and the rest of the world.
