Lewis Hamilton has ticked off another incredible milestone in his legendary career. On Sunday, the seven-time world champion won the Russian Grand Prix, which turned out to be his 100th race win. He is the first person in the sport’s history to reach a century of victories.

F1 Managing Director Ross Brawn also congratulated Hamilton on his 100th win. He stated that no one ever thought that someone would overtake Michael Schumacher‘s 91 wins and Hamilton has now got 100 wins.

“It’s a milestone no one thought anyone would ever reach. Michael’s tally of 91 was so far ahead of what anyone else had ever done at that point that it never seemed conceivable that anyone would get near it.

“But then Lewis beat it–and now Lewis has 100 wins. There is nothing stopping him.” said Brawn.
Brawn continued by stating that Hamilton could clinch at least 20 more wins before calling it a day on his career. It would be hard to put this past him, as he has at least two more years in the sport.
