It’s a little bit different: Lewis Hamilton

As reported by GPFans, the Mercedes driver qualified a shocking P2 in the Mexican GP qualifying. The British driver was off the pace throughout the weekend but did a stellar job to get his Mercedes on the front row. But he will have his work cut out as his rival Max Verstappen might get a tow from him going into the first corner.

The straight in Mexico is different from Sochi. But Hamilton has a plan to tackle the situation. “It’s a little bit different. It’s obviously probably almost as long. If not, yeah, I don’t know exactly,” said Lewis.

It feels exactly the same sort of length, but obviously, in Russia, there’s a lot more drag and a lot more tow-effect. Here there’s less but still, there is a tow effect and so you know, Valtteri and I will no doubt work as a team to try and hold one-two for the team.” said the Mercedes driver.
