Lewis Hamilton shares his experience of how he was never guided in his initial years at McLaren. And how to tackle such issues when facing the media.

Hamilton comes to support fellow sportsperson, Naomi Osaka. The tennis player faced a lot of backlash for not taking part in the press conference, as it was affecting her mental health. The Mercedes driver applauds her for speaking up and provides her with support.

Speaking at press conference, as quoted by RaceFans, Hamilton said, “I remember when I got into F1 the team had PR. I was never prepared for being in front of a camera, I was never guided as to what to look out for and helped to navigate through that.”

The Mercedes driver comes to support the young tennis player, Naomi Osaka

The Mercedes driver came to show his support for Osaka who shared an emotional post about her mental health. Hamilton didn’t hesitate and shared a powerful message with her. To help through these tough times.

Lewis wrote, “Mental health is not a joke, this is real and serious. This takes a lot of courage to do. Let’s all make sure Naomi knows she’s not alone. Today is a good day to check and ask your friends and loved ones how they are doing and let them know they are not alone.”

Hamilton has always shared motivational messages with other sportspersons and colleagues on the grid. He always the show’s his support and urges them to come back stronger.
