On Tuesday, there was an unexpected McLaren reunion which was initiated by the presence of Fernando Alonso. It soon became a proper reunion when the paddock was graced by Stoffel Vandoorne and Eric Boullier.

Alonso was even in the McLaren garage and met the new recruits, Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz Jr. Later, on social media, the Red Bull team tried to troll the Spanish veteran.

However, Alonso’s riposte was quick and hilarious as well. He managed to overturn Red Bull’s jab into a sick burn of his own. Even Lando Norris found it hilarious and tweeted his reply.

Coming back to McLaren, the Woking outfit had a good day in the office with Sainz Jr heading the leaderboard.
