FIA Releases Pledges To Be Taken by Russian Drivers Before Racing in F1 Grand Prix

In the light of recent events in Europe, the FIA has announced a new ruling for Russian drivers in F1. The International Olympic Committee recently called for all Russian and Belarusian athletes to be banned from international events. In response to the aforementioned call, the drivers from these nations are going to have to race under a neutral flag to continue competing in F1.
MotorSportUK has already released a statement saying they will ban all Russian drivers from participating in the UK. Although this decision might be overturned following the 10-point list that the FIA has ordered all organizations under it to adhere to. Failure to do so will lead to sanctions by the FIA.

New FIA rules for Russian drivers to compete in 2022
The FIA released a new 10-point which all Russian and Belarusian drivers have to comply to. F1 also announced that they have canceled the contract with the Russian Grand Prix, which means it will not feature on the calendar for the foreseeable future.

- The Driver represents himself in a neutral capacity and not the country.
- The Driver must refrain from commenting on the current Russia Ukraine situation.

Haas is in deep trouble
The current situation in Europe has left Haas fighting for its survival in F1. The US team had signed a deal with Russian chemical company Uralkali as the title sponsor in 2021. However, the recent events across Europe led the only American team on the grid to drop their title sponsor.
Meanwhile, they have also had to run a plain white livery as their colors coincided with the Russian flag. Furthermore, Driver Nikita Mazepin, son of Uralkali majority shareholder Dimitri Mazepin, finds his future in the sport under scrutiny.
