‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley once attributed Floyd Mayweather‘s star status to the latter’s gift of the gab and the ability to back his statements in the sport of boxing. Ahead of the utterance of this observance, when Max Kellerman asked Mayweather about a potential contest with Mosley following Floyd’s fresh win over Juan Manuel Marquez in 2009, ‘TBE’ stated that he feared nobody let alone Shane Mosley.

At the post-fight interaction with Mosley, initiated by Kellerman, Floyd Mayweather ran into a heated argument with the then 38-year-old WBA super welterweight champion. After over seven months, ‘TBE’ squared off with Shane Mosley. Even after over 12 years, a boxing enthusiast recalls how at the HBO face-off, Kellerman alluded to an article and read out the exact written description of ‘TBE’ – “a surefire hit who’s plotting to smash through all boundaries of boxing”.
