Sahara Force India, which until 2016 raced with a silver and black livery topped with Indian colors of green and orange, has suddenly decided to shake things up by painting its car baby pink. Pink is  certainly a very radical decision by the team who achieved 4th position last year. The decision is because Force India has tied with a new sponsor, the water technology company, BWT.

“The VJM10 will race in pink, magenta and silver to mark the beginning of a long-term relationship with the Austrian-headquartered water brand,” Force India confirmed in a statement. “The new colours will make their debut at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.”

“The arrival of BWT in Formula One is huge news and represents one of the most significant partnerships in our ten year history,” Force India owner Vijay Mallya said.

Force India had initially launched its car with a metallic silver livery as the primary colour and with orange and green as the secondary colours.
