Every year, before the F1 cars’ official livery gets launched, a number of artists come up with their own interpretation. Two of the most prominent graphic designers are Sean Bull and Tim Holmes, among others. Recently, with the advent of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Holmes came up with custom liveries based on all 32 football teams.

Each car design is painted in the appropriate kit colours and features each team’s principal sponsor marques. This adds to the authenticity of the livery.

England’s car is one of the most appealing designs — a vision in white and red, complete with a St George’s cross and a recumbent lion on the flank.
