Fortnite Chapter 5: All Bugs Confirmed to Be Fixed in Season 1 Update

After an eventful month, the end of Fortnite OG is just around the corner. While gamers are finding it hard to bid farewell to the superhit homecoming season, the speculations around the next chapter have kept them invested in the Epic Games Battle Royale. And it seems like the developers are in no mood to give away the newfound spotlight of the community. In fact, apart from every innovation that is planned for Chapter 5, Epic Games is set to address some major bug updates! 

The OG chapter has been so successful, it resulted in a record surge in player count. And the nostalgia factor has certainly brought a lot of Fortnite veterans back in the game. Now, following the end of Chapter 4, the stakes are higher than ever. And in a bid to keep the numbers up and fans happy, the developers have reportedly confirmed they will address a whole host of bugs in the forthcoming update for Chapter 5. 

From Locker Bugs to Save the World Mode Issues: Developers coming up with a promising patch update

The world of Fortnite is no stranger to bugs and glitches. The open-world island has reported a lot of bugs for the OG Chapter. However, considering the wave of emotions attached to the homecoming season, the bugs didn’t seem to be a big ‘party spoiler’ for the OG fans. But that won’t necessarily be the case for the following chapter. Well, being aware of the same, the makers have already planned on fixing major issues in the Chapter 5 Season 1 update. 

According to a credible industry scoop, the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 update will address two major sectors: Locker Issues and Save the World Issues.

  • For Locker Bugs, Players will find that archived backbackings are not showing in the locker and can not unarchive them.
  • The ‘Edit Style’ button is greyed out for the default hero in the STW Locker.
  • Randomized unsaved locker changes do not persist in the zone.
  • Players may find that trap durability does not reset in Endurance.
  • The Dragon Slash ability will also be fixed in such a way that it doesn’t deal any damage. 

The scoop also claimed the developers are planning some more patch updates in the coming weeks after the Season 1 note to ensure an enhanced Battle Royale experience. Undoubtedly, the roadmap for Fortnite following the OG Chapter looks more promising than ever! 

Moving into the next chapter of Fortnite

The reception of the nostalgic features coming back in the Battle Royale was phenomenal. So, it only makes sense to end things on a high. And this is exactly what Epic Games is planning. Eminem’s live event, titled The Big Bang is happening on Saturday, December 2, at 11 a.m. PT/ 2 p.m. ET.

Further, a lot of leaks claim the lineup planned for the next few months in the game also includes some much-awaited collaborations. Chapter 5 of Season 1 will also bring about another major alteration to the Fortnite map! An early draft of the map has already been made public. Since this is supposedly an incomplete version of the island, certain details may potentially change.

Of course, moving on from the OG carnival is going to be a challenge for all the veterans of the game, but with such big events ahead, the Fortnite fever surely isn’t ending anytime soon!
