YouTuber James Stephen Donaldson a.k.a MrBeast has consistently produced content that resonates with his dedicated fan base, showcasing his prowess in seamlessly integrating sponsors into his videos. The sponsors have played a pivotal role in sustaining James Stephen’s channels, and his adept marketing approach has proven time and again to be mutually beneficial for him and the brands he collaborates with. What sets him apart is that while he promotes products in his videos, sometimes that itself becomes a topic of interest.

And, in typical MrBeast fashion, the sponsorship comes with a giveaway. In his latest video, ‘Survive 100 Days Trapped, Win $500,000’ the YouTuber brought up an app that could help fans buy gifts for their loved ones for Christmas. What’s more, is that Jimmy mentioned that he would be giving away gifts too, and here is how you can participate in the giveaway.

  1. Download the Shop App.
  2. Visit MrBeast’s store on the app.
  3. On the store, you will have an option to request a gift from MrBeast.
  4. Type in what you want for Christmas and press the ‘Request Gift’ button.

Well, there are a couple of caveats in the giveaway rules. Requests can only be for an item that is actually sold and/or fulfilled via the Shop app during the Entry Period. So avoid wishing for unrealistic gifts like a dolphin, private jet, money, or even cryptocurrency.

Over the years, we have seen many YouTubers being sponsored by Shop App. But James took sponsorship to another level. Shop App sponsored the video of two people surviving in a room for 100 days. The exciting video gave fans a sneak peek into how two strangers managed to live together in confinement.

The challenge that Shop App sponsored

James Stephen organized a challenge called ‘Survive 100 Days Trapped, Win $500,000’. In this challenge, two contestants, Bailey and Suzie, who had never met before, were paired up to stay in an isolation chamber for 100 days. The rule of the challenge was that if either contestant wanted to leave, both would lose the challenge and receive no money. In the chamber, James provided the participants with basic necessities like food, a private bathroom, and 2 separate beds.

Bailey and Suzie, both content creators, engaged in repetitive activities to pass the time, such as eating the same food and playing cards that they made from journal paper. MrBeast introduced offers every 10 days to make their confinement more comfortable, but it all came at a cost. The first offer MrBeast put forth was of a private chef for $50,000, which they declined. As the days progressed, offers included smart beds, an iPad with light control, a free TV with a movie rental cost, and more.

On day 40, the contestants spent $10,000 each on items like a phone call, coffee machine, spices, Monopoly, and Harry Potter books. They spent $20,000 on day 50 to celebrate Suzie’s mom’s birthday with their families.

On day 60, they regretted not choosing a mystery box that could have contained Tesla car keys. On day 70, MrBeast surprised them by making them bid against him for missed amenities, and they successfully bid $100,101 to win. In the end, the contestants decided to split the remaining prize money. Each received $180,000, and they completed the challenge.
