According to Spazo, the Chimera is easily the most secretly overpowered gun to bring in the Modern Warfare 3 Zombies experience.

For the uninitiated, Chimera assault rifle was originally introduced in 2022’s Modern Warfare II installment. It was basically brought back after a long time. Thanks to the Carry Forward system, it’s now in MW3 as well. Still, not many users think it is powerful enough to deal with monsters and bosses inside the map of Urzikstan.

However, TheSpazo mentioned in his video that Chimera can simply shred most of the deadly bosses. It is especially effective against elite zombies like Mimic in the tier 3 Zone (High Threat Area). The latter happens to be the most dangerous part of the entire map in MWZ. If the Chimera can handle zombies in this zone, it’s definitely got something special.

Meanwhile, TheSpazo also revealed an effective loadout for other players who are interested in using the assault rifle. They can check out the attachments recommended by the YouTuber. Below is the list of all the items:

• Laser: 7MW Canted Laser
• Underbarrel: Demo Firm Grip
• Ammunition:.300BLK Overpressured
• Magazine: 45 Round Mag
• Rear Grip: D37 Grip

Now, before wreaking havoc with Chimera, players have to make sure they get it in the game. In Modern Warfare 3, the way to obtain this assault rifle has slightly changed.

To unlock Chimera, players have to initially reach the Level 55 (Prestige 1 rank) to activate a specific challenge. Once they complete the challenge, the gun will be unlocked for them to use in all the modes, including Modern Warfare Zombies.
