The Dragonspine event has again drawn many players back to Genshin Impact. Although there is not much content for veterans, the release of new artifact set is encouraging them to invest more in the game. Furthermore, many players want to pull Arataki Itto, which some users claim will change the meta to Geo characters.

Regardless, miHoYo has not released any new character since Kokomi. Thus, players are not able to try any new character with different comps. However, developers have made some changes in the Spiral Abyss. This is enough for users to try new team comps and test them out. Top teams ruling the 2.3 meta in Genshin Impact

Melt team

Even after one year of its release, the most broken elemental reaction in the game is Melt. Melt reaction triggers when Pyro and Cryo element act together, dealing tremendous damage to opponents. Moreover, it doesn’t matter which element triggers the reaction, as even if Cryo triggers Melt, it will deal significant damage, but not as much as Pyro.

Hence, many players like to use Cryo characters as support and Pyro as main damage dealers. Although several users like to use five-star Pyro characters, some four-star characters can also overshadow them.

Therefore, if you are a beginner who doesn’t have five-star units, you can use Xiangling, Bennett, Rosaria, and Kaeya/Kazuha. Moreover, you will get an attack buff because of the Pyro resonance of two Pyro characters in your team.

Electro

Many players consider the Electro element as the weakest element in the game. Thus, miHoYo has introduced a lot of opponents in the recent Spiral Abyss, which are weaker against Electro. When it comes to the best Electro main damage dealer in the game, there is no one who can surpass Beidou.

However, because of her high energy cost, you need constant Electro particle and this is where Fischl comes in handy. Other than these two, you can also use Xingqiu or Kokomi to trigger an Electro-Charged elemental reaction. Lastly, you can equip Sucrose or Kazuha to get increased damage from the Elemental Mastery buff.

If we decide to rely on rumors, then every player should start building Geo characters soon. According to rumors, Arataki Itto will rule over all the characters after his release and will shift meta to Geo element. Therefore, if you are planning to pull for Itto, also make sure to pull Gorou and some of his constellations.

As miHoYo explained Gorou’s kit at the 2.3 livestream, it looks like he is designed to provide buffs to Geo characters, especially Itto. Hence, you will need three Geo characters, including Gorou, to unleash his true potential. You will need one character aside from Itto and Gorou and Albedo is a splendid option.

Furthermore, Albedo has his re-run banner currently, and you might pull him if you get lucky. Aside from him, you can also give Ningguang a spot on the team, who is one of the best four-star damage dealers in the game. For the last character, Bennett is the best choice, as he can provide attack buff and significant healing to others.
