The 2019-20 season was one of the longest and most eventful seasons in the history of the NBA. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season went into a hiatus and resumed in the Orlando Bubble. Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expressed his gratitude to commissioner Adam Silver for pulling off this difficult task. He said:
“When the pandemic began it was hard to imagine the NBA pulling off what it just did- creating a bubble that kept players, coaches and personnel Covid free, allowing the season to conclude with a captivating playoff run & providing us all with great entertainment.”

Like Steve said, without the commissioner’s tremendous hard work, there’s no saying how the season might have ended. Although there were no fans in the stadium for obvious safety concerns, the fact that there were zero new COVID cases in the NBA Bubble needs to be appreciated.
As of now, the offseason has begun and there are still doubts over when the new season will commence. However, knowing Silver, the season will begin only when safety precautions are top-notch.
Will the Golden State Warriors continue their reign of supremacy?

The 2019-20 season was unarguably a low point for the Warriors. In their defense, they were down two of their best players since Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were out due to injuries. Moreover, former MVP Kevin Durant also parted ways with the franchise after three terrific years.

All these factors led the Warriors to a league-wide worst record of 15-50. This poor season awarded the Warriors with the #2 pick in the 2020 NBA draft. As of now, the Dubs can either trade the pick to lure another star or simply pick a terrific draft prospect.
If the one position the Warriors lack is at the center, they do not have a phenomenal big man, who can hold the fort in the paint. But even if the Dubs add a new player to the roster, the splash brothers Steph and Klay might need a few games to get back in the groove.
