The Warriors blew the Cavaliers out for the second time in a row, this time with a scoreline of 132-113. They’ve won both their home games and will now head east looking to sweep the NBA Finals in Cleveland.

The game was fairly even for the first half. The Warriors had a 67-64 lead going into the second half. LeBron James had a monster first half double-double with 18 points and 10 assists to go along with 6 rebounds. He ended the game with a 29 points, 11 rebounds, 14 assists triple-double tying Magic Johnson for most triple-doubles in NBA Finals history. Kevin Love also got going early on in the game, ending the game with 27 points and 7 rebounds. Most of LeBron’s and Love’s contributions came in the first half. Kyrie Irving dropped a lowly 19 points as he was defended brilliantly by Klay Thompson who seemed to have found his groove back on offence as well as defence.

For the Warriors, the MVP-Duo of Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry dropped a combined 65 points. Curry scored his first playoffs career triple-double with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. KD had an all around game with 33 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 blocks and 3 steals. He provided much of the defensive intensity as Draymond Green was benched due to foul trouble in the first half. Klay Thompson dropped in another 22 points. Draymond Green, Shaun Livingston and Ian Clark also scored in double digits.

Hopefully, the Cleveland Cavaliers will hold their fort and come back to tie the series. The Cavs literally can’t miss a beat in games 3 and 4. Kyrie Irving will have to step up against Steph Curry. Kevin Love should be able to play like he’s playing. J.R. Smith has had an awful last two games. He and the rest of the supporting cast also needs to make decent contributions on the both ends. The Cavs really need everyone to step up if they wish to pose even the slightest threat against the Warriors.
