Wyndham Clark takes inspiration from Rickie Fowler for golf clubs

No two players are more deserving at the moment at the US Open than Rickie Fowler and Wyndham Clark. Both have shown their excellent golfing skills to the world on many previous occasions and the time has come that they receive their due diligence, and be known as a major PGA Tour tournament winner. But there can be only one winner. And not only is Wyndham taking care that he wins through his performance, but he has also brought to the green a very important aid, a putter that was inspired from Fowler?s own putter.

Both players share an old bond. When Clark was at Oklahoma State, he met Fowler several times who was a standout for the Cowboys there. And lately, they have even played together. Before the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the duo was playing at Medalist Club in Jupiter, where Clark wasn?t able to putt and Fowler was making every single of them. Clark requested Fowler if he could use his putt for practice and Fowler agreed. It was an Odyssey Versa Jailbird putter that Clark liked so much that he got one for himself.

Clark’s immediate action for the same putter as Fowler

Wyndham later told how he got the putter with a slight alteration ?I texted the Odyssey guy, and I said, ?Hey, can you make me Rickie’s putter?? And he’s like, well what specs? I said, the exact same. So, literally had the exact same putter. And I joked with Rickie today, he changed the grip. He changed the grip and cut it an inch, so I was like, all right, I got to change the grip and cut it an inch.?
