AimPoint Golf Takes a Salty Dig at Paige Spiranac and Others Over Recent Controversy

AimPoint is a method to read the green to make a putt. Many players on the PGA Tour, including Keegan Bradley, use this method. However, Paige Spiranac and others found Bradley’s putt at the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play extremely slow. And the Team Aimpoint is not happy with that.
The latest Twitter post of AimPoint points out how fast golfers can putt using the putting method. They even tagged Spiranac to let her know about the same.

According to the official website of AimPoint, the system helps the golfers to hit the putt with accuracy. The golfers would need to use their feet to calculate the slope, whereas hands to determine the aim. They claim that five world’s no. 1 players use the system.
The PGA Tour player Keegan Bradley uses the Aimpoint system to analyze the green. Therefore, when Spiranac and others called out the golfer for the same, the putting system team went furious.

Their latest tweet compared the pace policy of the PGA Tour and how even the slowest putt from Bradley was under the allotted time.
The pace policy of the PGA Tour
Since some players take extra time at the green to calculate their putt, the PGA Tour has developed a pace policy for the players. According to it, a time period of a maximum of 40 seconds is allowed for each golfer to hit a shot. However, it can be extended up to 60 seconds under certain conditions.

According to the AimPoint tweet, Bradley used only 27 seconds to make his putt at the WGC Match Play, which is under the pace policy of the PGA Tour. Hence, the Aimpoint Team posted the latest tweet as a reply to all who thought the golfer was playing a slow play. And this included Spiranac.

Spiranac often shares her opinions about golf-related news through her social media. And so she shared the video of Keegan Bradley’s, what she thought was slow play, with a caption, “Nightmare Fuel.” Due to her popularity, her comment on Bradley’s slow play attracted many people as they made several comments on it.
AimPoint found this as a way of bullying and called out the former golfer for the same, to which she replied.
