Michelle Wie West is clearly enjoying life, and her daughter is right there sharing in the fun. The retired LPGA star has been busy traveling for events and collaborating with brands and friends. She recently did a shoot with Nike alongside her good friend Hally Leadbetter and attended the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage as part of the T-Mobile Club Magenta. After all that travel, she took some time to relax at home, where NBC Sports’ Kira Dixon stopped by for a special catch-up.

Charley Hull & Co. love Makenna’s little dance moves

Despite the excellent performance of Michelle Wie West & Kira Dixon, it was Makenna who stole the show in the retired LPGA Tour star’s Instagram post. In fact, Dixon herself admitted this as she wrote, “She absolutely nailed it.” After already setting the stage for West to reveal her sparkly pink top early that evening, it was wonderful to see that she was cheering for her daughter. No wonder Michelle thinks of Kira as such a good friend.

Another one of Dixon’s friends from a competing broadcast company, CBS Sports’s Amanda Balionis, dropped by to say, “So cute.” Balionis also received a response from West saying, “she’s the cutest.” Like Kira, Michelle also shares a great friendship with Amanda. In fact, during the Golden Bear Pro-Am event preceding the 2025 Memorial Tournament, they were also seen embracing each other and Kira as the trio walked down the fairway.

Interestingly, West has stated that her daughter’s swing is also pretty good already, and she can’t wait for her to get into golf as well.
