After a hard-fought battle with Keita Nakajima, Tommy Fleetwood came out on top at the Delhi Golf Club. He won the 2025 DP World Tour Championship by 2 strokes, adding another title to his trophy cabinet. With that, the Englishman also banked a huge paycheck of $680,000. After the mammoth achievement, Fleetwood only wanted to embrace one person when he had made the final putt. His son, Frank, ran to the green to hug him and celebrate his victory with him. What was already a big moment turned even more special, and he didn’t forget to acknowledge it.

Sharing pictures of him and his kid on Instagram, Fleetwood shared a beautiful post to dedicate his victory to Frank. The caption simply read, “For you Frank!! 🏆,” but held more depth, meaning, and love in just three words than any of his other victories. Tommy had climbed mountains this season, with the first PGA Tour title and the battle of Bethpage. Coming to India, this was his moment of triumph. Coming to India was not about breaking a record or national glory. It was about personal goals and family. Having his son behind the ropes watching him deliver a winning performance was quite emotional.

Tommy Fleetwood’s win and dedication to his son attracted a lot of comments. One of them was from tennis legend, Rafael Nadal, who simply applauded him by writing, “👏👏👏.” Fleetwood delivered an outstanding performance in the final round of the DP World India Championship. His last round 7-under 65 helped him not only cover the 2-point deficit between himself and Keita Nakajima, but also surpass the Japanese pro by 2 more points.
Golf reporter, Claire Rogers, also dropped by to say, “👏👏 go Frankie and Tommy!” She has always been an avid supporter of the Englishman and was eagerly waiting for him to win his first PGA Tour title. In fact, Rogers had also promised to publish the one draft on X that she had written about Fleetwood’s first victory when he achieved the feat. However, it has been nearly two months since he won the TOUR Championship, but she hasn’t revealed it yet. Everyone wants to read that draft, Claire!

Fleetwood has been in the form of his life lately. Over the past couple of months, he has been in spectacular touch. If he continues to play like this, then we might see the Englishman winning bigger championships in the near future.
