While he is popular enough to gain views for his own solo videos, his collaborations have been a major hit in the YouTube golf space. Having celebrated personalities like Donald Trump, Tom Brady, and many popular golfers has helped DeChambeau gain a lot of views for his own channel. He has also jumped over to other channels like Bob Does Sport to create some great content in the past.

But this time, the famous YouTube golf content creator is joining forces with the most subscribed YouTuber in history. If you don’t know whom we’re talking about, it’s MrBeast! Bryson DeChambeau and MrBeast came together to create a short sequence of videos where the 2X U.S. Open winner goes up against one of the latter’s associates.

The pair went at it on one hole at what @johnallen.10 predicted to be the “davie golf club“. As Aaron was new to golf, he got a hole 50 times larger than normal. Over a carousel of 7 images and videos, the post showed DeChambeau mishit a few shots before finally grabbing the $100,000 prize money that was donated to his chosen charity.

While the intent was good, fans were not really impressed with the execution of the entire episode. Bryson DeChambeau surprisingly underperformed throughout the video while the commentators also had a lot to say about the involvement of MrBeast and Aaron.

Bryson DeChambeau’s video faces a lot of criticism

Right off the tee, Bryson DeChambeau had MrBeast and Aaron screaming down his ears as he miscued the shot right into the water. The rest of the game was more of the same disorderly play justifying @alexbutters45 comment, “Is this just a video to show how little MrBeast knows about golf lol.” @Scottyyyjay stated, “Might been worst video I’ve ever seen.”, probably slamming MrBeast and Aaron about their abysmal attitude. @rgibbs29 felt sorry for the LIV Golf pro as he said, “I feel embarrassed for Bryson having to do this. Who did this to him. Poor guy,” suggesting that MrBeast did not plan this collaboration well.

@Ballomar also shared his criticism for MrBeast as he said, “Mr. Beast and golf….good reason to shrink the game,” indicating that MrBeast should not be making golf-related content. The no. 1 YouTuber in the world was also questioned about his career as @leon_skii said, “Mrbeast tryna revive his career 😭🙏.” @sp4ce.ghost said, “Mrbeast will make anything cringey,” suggesting that the collaboration was unbearable to watch. @mdmartin_ simply stated “that was the most embarrassing performance by that guy” probably targeting Aaron whose performance would have received the same reaction from any golf fan.

Fans certainly had a strong opinion about the entire collaboration. What do you think could MrBeast have done better? Share your views in the comments section.
