Whatever Watson might say, his shot was truly amazing. Not many could believe it made the green, while also remembering his iconic playoff shot.

Is Bubba Watson proud of his shot?

Even though Watson’s decade-old shot earned him his 2012 Master victory, he believes this current shot was the truly iconic one. He seemed confident despite all the pine trees surrounding it, making the difficult task look extremely easy on camera. Of course, everyone knows how tough it can be.

The course at Augusta National is not forgiving and often needs such epic shots from players to move ahead. Watson, who is familiar with the course, seemed determined not to give up.

“Nobody in the world would have tried that shot that I tried. Nobody on the planet,” Watson said. He added that though they can tell him they would try it, he knows no one would have tried it, or pulled it off.

While that might be up for debate, one cannot deny that pulling it off was no easy feat. Not only does it require some talent and skill, but it also needs an understanding of the course and control. Watson seemed to have mastered it all, making sure to wow the audience and experts commentating.

The comments, however, remained a bit varied. Some fans maintained that they have tried the shot, and will continue doing so. The difference was, of course, that the shot might not have worked out like Watson’s. Some added that his comments are what make him Bubba Watson in the first place.
