However, for the 2027 edition of the tournament, Ryder Cup Europe had approached Ireland to organize the event in 2019. The country confirmed that Adare Manor in County Limerick will be the venue to hold the 46th Ryder Cup as Europe tries to continue its domination on home soil.

Beyond that, the 47th edition of the tournament, which is to be played in 2029, will come back to the United States in Minnesota. It will be played at the Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska. Last time the tournament was held in the same venue was in 2016, and it saw the home team win 17-11. In 2031, Jon Rahm will welcome the Ryder Cup to his home country of Spain.
