The RBC Heritage tournament went through numerous exciting turns before Matt Fitzpatrick finally claimed the title defeating Jordan Spieth on the third playoff hole. It was nothing less than a treat for the fans to watch the two in the head-to-head duel in the final round. However, despite all the excitement, there were some who proved to allegedly make the game ‘boring’ for the fans. And Patrick Cantlay is on the top of this list as per golf fans. Fans react to Patrick Cantlay’s lethargic play at RBC Heritage
PGA Tour’s Patrick Cantlay, 31, has been in the news several times. Although there is no lack of talent in the golfer, fans still give him a hard time for a special reason. The golfer also made it to the headlines a few days back for his slow pace during the final round of the Masters. In fact, his slow playing pace was extremely criticized by golf fans as well as professionals at Augusta National.

However, despite all the criticism, the golfer seems to continue taking his time before each shot. In a recent video shared by BeatinTheBookie, Cantlay can be seen taking nearly an entire minute before making a 4 ft putt at RBC Heritage. And fans can’t help but disapprove of the golfer’s slow speed.

How much prize money did Patrick Cantlay win at RBC Heritage?
With Matt Fitzpatrick winning the tournament, Cantlay managed to finish 3rd with a final score of -16. With a total purse of $20 million, the golfer earned $1,380,000 at the end of the tournament. On the other hand, Fitzpatrick made $3,600,000 as his winning prize money, while Jordan Spieth took home $2,180,000 as his share.
