Patrick Cantlay’s recent professional move upsets Tiger Woods’ fans
Tiger Woods has had a pretty rough time in all his recent tournaments. Ever since his infamous car crash, the golf star hasn’t been able to return to his best form. In fact, despite all the eagerness among his fans regarding his appearance at the Masters, the golf legend was forced to disappoint all his supporters with his unexpected exit.

But that is not all! The golf star is once again in a puddle, all thanks to Patrick Cantlay. As per recent updates, the world no. 4 has now hired Woods’ long-time caddie and friend, Joe LaCava, to hold his bag during upcoming tournaments.

After splitting up with his former caddie, Matt Minister, Cantlay has now decided to give LaCava a chance. “When I reached out to Joe, he said it was possible and ended up working out and I’m really happy about it,” the golfer said, in the Wednesday press conference at the Wells Fargo Championship this week.

However, that was not the most surprising thing. What followed was even more unexpected. Cantlay added that he did not speak to Woods at all before poaching his caddie! This, of course, didn’t sit well with the golf fans.
Fans react to Cantlay’s unforeseen caddie switch
No matter how Woods has performed in his recent tournaments, he is still adored by millions of his fans around the world. And they are pretty unhappy about Cantlay’s decision to allegedly take LaCava from Woods without informing him. Ever since the news went viral on Twitter, fans have been giving all kinds of reactions to it. Here’s what some of them had to say:

Imagine not calling the GOAT to ask about poaching his caddy. Seems like something almost everyone would do out of respect.

That’s bold, maybe he’s still trying to find his footing before he reaches out. He’s not quick to take his shot

He couldn’t. He was still finishing his round at Augusta
