He further explained why he always wears navy and gray colors on the course, saying, “But that’s why I wear gray or navy or other things usually. I don’t want to get close to him”. It is clear that the red and black are synonymous with Tiger Woods. The golf maestro once explained why he wore this particular outfit on Sundays in the final round of any event.

In an interview with GNN in 2020 he said, “I’ve worn red ever since my college days basically, or junior golf days – big events on the last day. I just stuck with it out of superstition, and it worked. I just happened to choose a school that actually was red, and we wore red on our final day of events. So it worked out.” But that’s not all. His mother, Kultida, also has a major hand in Woods wearing red on Sundays.

Woods added, “I wear red on Sundays because my mum thinks that that’s my power color. And you know you should always listen to your mom.” Even though Rahm talked about not imitating Woods’ traditional outfit, he did eventually wear the red polo and a pair of black pants for a particular reason at the Sentry tournament

In the final round of the Sentry tournament, he chose to wear a red-printed polo T-shirt and black pants. All of that was because he was sort of done wearing navy blue for the week, and he also forgot his belt!

During his competition at the 2023 Sentry, the Spaniard just carried navy blue and black pants. He also just carried the matching belts. He wore navy blue for all the days of the tournament since he did not want to be too hot and weak by wearing black. But as Sunday approached, he did not want to wear the navy pants anymore! Hence, he opted to wear his black pants with a red polo T-shirt.
