PGA Tour has released a statement mentioning the names of 17 players that have allegedly turned their backs on the Tour. These 17 players have joined hands with the Saudi-backed LIV Golf tournament, which in this case is a violation of the PGA Tour regulations.

This list also includes names like Phil Mickelson, who also made some accusations as well as mean comments about the PGA Tour recently. Another highlight on the list is the Former World No. 1 Dustin Johnson, who has been suspended from the PGA Tour as a repercussion of being a part of the LIV Golf.

What does the statement say?

The statement contains detailed information about the violations and their repercussions for the players. It mentions that the players will not be allowed to participate in any of the tournaments on the PGA Tour. It also puts a stop to their participation in any other tournaments associated with the PGA Tour.

Jay Monahan, Commissioner of the PGA Tour, clearly stated that players who have broken the regulations can’t expect to get benefits like other loyal players on the PGA Tour. It would be unfair to the golfers who have entrusted the PGA Tour and helped form these regulations in the first place.
