The Netflix Cup will take place in the fall season. The event stands as the streaming giant’s first-ever live sports event with golfers and Formula 1. The two pros will tee it up on the course and face off in an epic, star-studded golf tournament!

The Netflix Cup: The unprecedented sports venture is here

The epic tournament is going to welcome all the athletes in F1 and golf. The tournament will start on November 14 at 3 p.m. The event is produced by Excel Sports Management (the popular event-organizing company), Full Day Productions, and BZ Entertainment.

The event will feature PGA Tour pros going up against F1 drivers at the Wynn Golf Club. The course on the Las Vegas strip has a single 18-hole layout and will see the two sports’ athletes clash on its greens. the Las Vegas strip. This event will be organized before the Las Vegas Grand Prix, according to Netflix themselves.

On this eventful occasion, Gabe Spitzer of the Netflix nonfiction sports association said, “We love to see how our sports series have brought increased fandom to sports leagues and competitions all over the world. The Netflix Cup will take that energy to the next level, with global stars from two popular hits competing in our first-ever live sports event”.

Even Emily Prazer, the chief commercial officer of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, feels that the F1 show has spiked up the popularity of sports on the US side, and this collaboration is going to bring even better appeal from the fans. The F1 drivers who will make an appearance in the event are Alex Albon (the Thai-British driver), Carlos Sainz (the 2023 Singapore Grand Prix winner), Lando Norris (McLaren Racing), and Pierre Gasly. On the list of PGA Tour golfers, we have all the American Ryder Cup veterans. The names are Rickie Fowler, Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, and Justin Thomas.
