The $2.6 billion giant has partnered with TaylorMade and made a collection called “Speed Craft Collection”.

TaylorMade is a leading equipment company in the golf industry. They sponsor golfers like Rory McIlroy, Nelly Korda, Rickie Fowler, and, of course, Tiger Woods himself. Recently, the golf club giant released a teaser hinting at a collaboration with the F1 giant.

The two brands might be miles apart from each other in sports, but their single meeting point is carbon. Both companies extensively use carbon in their products, and the Stealth Plus 2 Driver has double the amount of the normal one.

Soon after the announcement, a sneak peek of the Stealth Plus 2 Driver was out and made a round on the internet. The NUCLR, sharing the first look of the driver, which is painted with the F1 giant’s iconic red and orange color, asked people about their opinion on its design.

Few were happy, and others rejected the idea from the get-go. The collaboration is not what people expect between a golf equipment brand and an F1 racing car constructor. We collected some of the best reactions just for you!

Fans react to the new driver design by Tiger Woods’ sponsor and Red Bull

The ‘Speed Craft Collection’ by TaylorMade and Red Bull Racing has enticed a mixture of reactions from supporters of the sport’. With its redbull-looking head, the club attracted golf lovers from all over and had them chiming in on the new look!

This fan loved the idea and the design. He called the move something only champions can do.

Another took the opposite turn and hated the design. He wished that this was all fake news and not an actual driver.

This one was on the same path as the others and called the collaboration “pointless.”

One fan loved the design and called it a ‘Bomb’.

Another suggested a similar design but for a putter so that it can ‘fly’.

This fan called out the expensive price, which will only go up after the collab, and disregarded it entirely.

Another was a bit aggressive and direct in saying no to the weird design.

Another tagged TaylorMade and noted that the design looked horrid.

Not everyone is up for it, but this fan loved it and wanted to acquire it in the future.

Lastly, a gentleman asked a sensible question about why a brand would advertise on a part that is not easily seeable.
