TGL is back for round 2! Tiger Woods & Rory McIlroy‘s simulation golf league will begin its second season early, as the first match was already announced for December 28, 2025. Atlanta Drive GC will take on the New York Golf Club for an exciting, end-of-the-year contest to kick off season two on a high note. However, the rest of the schedule was still a mystery as TGL or anyone else hadn’t confirmed the remaining schedule. But that ended today as all the matches for the 2026 season of TGL have been released.

NUCLR GOLF tweeted the entire season 2 schedule just a few minutes ago, as the tickets are already getting sold for the same on Tickets On Sale. And it’s got some great contests lined up. However, as per the schedule, it doesn’t seem like TGL has added a new team to their roster. But the most anticipated match between the co-owners and their teams won’t be played until much later in the tournament. Tiger Woods’s Jupiter Links GC will take on Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf on March 1, 2026, at 9:00 P.M. EST. Last time the two teams faced off, it was Jupiter Links GC who won the match 4-3. It will be interesting to see what results they produce this time around.

The rest of the schedule is quite packed. It won’t be as hectic as season one, which saw three matches being played on the same day. But the league will still have regular matches from December 28, 2025, to March 3, 2026. Interestingly, the contest between Woods & McIlroy will immediately be followed by another blockbuster match the next day. The finalists of the 2025 season, the Los Angeles Golf Club & New York Golf Club, will face off against each other in the penultimate match of the regular season.

That is not the only new development observed on the TGL website that might get the fans excited. Interestingly, Rory McIlroy & Tiger Woods have something interesting in store for them in the near future. But it might just not be as near as they would have hoped for.

Rory McIlroy & Tiger Woods take TGL to the next level

Apart from the release of the schedule, the TGL website also reveals another interesting detail that some might have missed. However, fans will not get to witness it in the upcoming season. But the co-owners might reveal details of the same in 2026 to promote it a year ahead. As per the official website, TGL will see a new team in its roster from the 2027 season.

The new team is called the Motor City Golf Club, which will represent the Detroit region. The team is so new that they don’t even have a logo design yet. However, the TGL confirmed that they had shaken hands with Michael Hamp and Peter Hamp, owners of the Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos, to bring them on board. Sheila Ford Hamp & her husband, Steven, will be co-owners of the Motor City GC. With this news, Rory McIlroy & Tiger Woods have also confirmed that TGL will be coming for a third season in 2027. It will be interesting to see who becomes a part of the team.
