Williams, in an interview, once spoke about the 15-time major championship and revealed how Woods had the zest to win every time and the pressure he faced.

Eldrick Woods had probably one of the best years of his professional career in 2000. He won three of the remaining major championship, as a result, creating what is Tiger Slam in golf. Woods and Williams were together from 1999 till 2011. He saw both highs and lows in Woods’ career.

Tiger Woods Learned This Valuable Life Lesson From His Father When He Was Just 4

In the video, he said, “Tiger had to win. And he wasn’t, if he didn’t win the tournament. It wasn’t a good tournament. That was that that’s what he was there for. That’s what he wanted to do. And that was the only result of that counted.”

He added, “He was just so hell-bent on winning major championships. And everything was based around those tournaments, they meant the world to him. And there was a lot of pressure involved. Because, you know, his ambition of trying to get to where Jack Nicklaus was and beat Jack’s record, you know, certainly was an achievable goal. But it was also a lot of pressure.”

Truly, Woods deserved all his wins because of his writ and determination.

Tiger Woods’ latest major win

Tiger won his most recent major championship back in 2019. Woods won the 2019 Masters at Augusta in dramatic fashion to add another green jacket under his name. He won the event with an overall score of 13-under-par. As a result, won the event with a one-shot lead on Sunday. Tiger carded a final round of 70, two-under-par en route to victory. Moreover, he won a prize money share worth $2,070,00. It was Woods’ first major win in almost 11 years.
