Tiger Woods is widely considered the greatest golfer of all time. With his 60+ PGA Tour championship titles and 15 majors, many view him as their role model. It is their dream to play with him or at least get to see him once in person. Yet, a 36-year-old Tour player once chose hot dogs over the golf legend’s phone call!
Recently, it was announced that Steve Stricker and Webb Simpson would join Fred Couples and Zach Johnson as assistant captains of the upcoming Presidents Cup. Although the others have some experience as captains or assistant captains before, it is the first time Simpson would get to hold such a position. And he is excited about it.

However, the more interesting part is how Webb Simpson got to know about his involvement in the upcoming team event. The 2012 US Open champion explained the story during the press meet during the Wyndham Championship, where he would tee up this week.
Simpson made Tiger Woods wait before he could tell him the good news
According to Webb Simpson, he was at his favorite hotdog joint in Wilmington, North Carolina, when he got the call from Woods. The golfer explained that he was stressed then as his children had made the owner mad as they kept opening the door.
