BMW Australian PGA Championship 2024 broadcast

Cameron Smith and 155 other pros will be battling it out at the Royal Queensland Golf Club in Brisbane, Australia. The event players will be competing for a $1.3 million purse from the evening of November 20, 2024.

As per the information available on the NBC Sports website, all the action will be broadcast live across multiple channels. The first hour and a half of the event will be live from 8 PM to 9:30 PM (EST) on the NBC Sports app. The action from 9:30 PM to 1 AM can be watched on the Golf Channel, as well as the NBC Sports app.

Each round will be carried forward post-midnight. That means, that even though the event begins on November 20, it will actually end on the fifth day on November 24 at 1 AM. The timings for all the rounds will be the same throughout the event. The winning ceremony will be conducted during the live broadcast on the final day of the event.

What to expect in the tournament?

The 2024 BMW Aussie PGA is kicking off the new DP World Tour season. The 2024-25 season is expected to be action-packed with a lot of players returning to the field. Several LIV Golf players have been reinstated into the new season. This list includes Sergio Garcia and Jon Rahm among other players. Having said that, neither of these players is scheduled to feature in the first event of the new season. What fans will see is a close contest between tournament favorite Cameron Smith, world no. 32 Jason Day, 2023 champion Min Woo Lee, Cam Davis, and many more great pros.

Just so you know, this wouldn’t be the first time Cameron Smith wins this tournament. He has previously achieved glory at the event in 2017, 2018, and 2022. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top on November 24, 2024.
