A role reversal for the sake of laughter in golf
The amusing comedy, titled Other Foot C.C. (The All-Female Country Club), was produced by Golf Digest’s Hally Leadbetter for GolfPass’s Better Off With Hally Leadbetter series. Hally Leadbetter and two women writers, Kate Scarpetta and Aliea Clark, worked on the amazing script and brought it to life.
According to SI Golf, Leadbetter provided her feedback on the video that she had prepared.
“The inspiration was a culmination of instances or scenarios that either us or our close friends have experienced as women on a golf course, and obviously we exaggerated quite a bit of it for comedy, but we thought, wouldn’t it be funny to flip the script here and put a guy in our shoes.”

According to Leadbetter, the video “flips the script” on male golfers by having them experience things like being required to purchase “longer shorts” in the pro shop and climbing an unending number of flights of stairs in order to locate the men’s locker room.
The objective of the project, according to the video’s creator, was to comically exaggerate the experiences of female golfers by depicting them from a male perspective. The film encourages viewers to laugh, think, and consider conventional gender norms within golf. It presents a man golfer negotiating the difficulties and idiosyncrasies connected with the sport.
