When did Christiaan Bezuidenhout marry Kristen Hart?

Christiaan Bezuidenhout proposed to her long-time girlfriend, Kristen Hart, on March 19th, 2020. In a close-friend ceremony at Boschendal, Bezuidenhout married Kristen Hart on September 19th, 2021.

He shared a photo from their wedding day on his Instagram handle with the caption, “Mr & Mrs Bezuidenhout!” They have also repeatedly mentioned how their wedding day is their ‘forever favorite day’. Kristen Bezuidenhout graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 2017. She has two sisters named Megan and Veronica.

Kristen Bezuidenhout’s post suggests how the couple has been traveling since before they were married and after. From kayaking to wildlife safaris, they never seem to stop moving. Beaches are the other destinations where the couple can be sighted.

And about 6 months later, on 3rd November 2023, the couple was blessed with a son, whom they named, John Christiaan Bezuidenhout. On their Instagram, they both wrote, “Praise the Lord for our perfect little boy! John Christiaan Bezuidenhout, you are so loved. 💙”

After Bezuidenhout was seen stuttering in an interview following his runner-up position at American Express, many wanted to know what Bezuidenhout struggled with. The golfer had once poisoned himself as a two-year-old child. He mistakenly took a sip of a Coke bottle that had rat poison in it. Ever since then, Bezuidenhout had difficulty with his nervous system as well as speech. The golfer also revealed that he dreaded winning in a golf tournament as a kid because it would require him to give a speech.

Yet a young Christiaan Bezuidenhout grew up in a golfing family. He has always tried to escape from ‘people’ and ‘places’ and chose golf as a way out. He stated how much he liked golf because it was an individual sport and he was always by himself. Bezuidenhout confessed, “I was always a loner, practiced on my own. I took myself away from people and places with people there. Golf was like an escape from my circumstances.”
