“It’s the Best”: Collin Morikawa on Having Authentic Japanese Cuisine While at the Zozo Championship

According to Morikawa, it was a different feeling, even though they were out there and knew they were playing the Olympics. Undoubtedly, their presence always adds to the heroics of players, particularly Morikawa.
Speaking of the same, he looked back at his first-ever tee shot in Japan, where fans were on stools and lined up to watch him play. “They would cheer for you walking to tee boxes, hitting every tee shot whether it’s good or bad.”

Additionally, Morikawa also wants his game to travel, which is why he plays on the European Tour. “You’ve got to adjust and you’ve got to get your body right and I think that’s just what it is to be a professional golfer,” he added, stating that one learns how to get ready and play every week.
After Japan, players will head to Dubai for the European Tour’s season-ending DP World Tour Championship.
