Another season of the Korn Ferry Tour is complete! Chandler Blanchet pulled off an amazing win in the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance. He jumped up from 7th place to 2nd on the points table. Johnny Keefer leads it and will end the year as the best player on the Tour. However, there were no surprise changes in the top 20 of the leaderboard. Hence, the same players who were in the top 20 last week are Tour Bound this week. And Justin Thomas congratulated them for receiving their PGA Tour card for the 2026 season.

The 2-time major winner tweeted, “Congrats to all those @KornFerryTour members who earned their @PGATOUR cards yesterday! Such an amazing accomplishment, always will be a moment I won’t forget in my career.” Thomas has quite a few fond memories from the one season he spent on the Korn Ferry Tour. And it’s understandable why he remembers progressing from it and receiving his PGA Tour card so fondly.
Thomas was only 20 when he first joined the KFT in February 2014. And he had a spectacular start to his professional career with a T5 finish in the Pacific Rubiales Colombia Championship. The closest he got to a win was in the El Bosque Mexico Championship, where he finished as a runner-up with an 11-under par. However, the 32-year-old did eventually get his first win in the penultimate tournament of the season, the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. That secured his 5th place on the Korn Ferry Tour points table and a ticket to the PGA Tour.

Speaking of the new talent that will be rising through the ranks, Justin has already had the opportunity to play with some of them. He and Neal Shipley joined the field for the 2025 Valspar Championship back in March. Thomas also played with Johnny Keefer in the PGA Championship and the U.S. Open. Speaking of the U.S. Open, Chandler Blanchet was also a part of the field for the major. It will be exciting to see how these stars perform when they regularly play against the top players on the PGA Tour.

When will Justin Thomas play alongside the new stars from the Korn Ferry Tour?
As far as his schedule goes, Justin Thomas had already made it into the top 30 of the FedEx Cup rankings earlier this year. So he doesn’t really need to play any Fall events. And as he has done in the last few seasons, fans can expect him to skip most of the tournaments from now till December 2025. The next time Thomas will play a tournament will probably be the 2025 Hero World Challenge. And that event probably won’t feature any Korn Ferry Tour players.
Hence, the next time Justin Thomas might play a tournament that will also include the newly promoted players would be in the 2026 season. He has appeared in The American Express for the last couple of years. Considering that it’s a full-field event, that’s probably the best venue where he might get to meet most of the 20 new PGA Tour cardholders.
