One of the finest teams in the present charts of LIV Golf, Crushers GC, has been trending for its brilliant scoreboard this season. The team has secured two victories this year: first in Jeddah, then in Hong Kong. With an overall score of 105.50 points, Crushers GC is ranked 1st in the LIV Golf team standings so far. After a stellar season, fans’ expectations from DeChambeau and Co. sure were riding high, but that did not quite pan out at Sentosa GC.

The team was not one or two places down on the leaderboard but is positioned as far below in the list as the 8th spot after the second round concluded. The event is not over yet, and the team seems to be handling disappointing its fans pretty well. How? Well, the recent Instagram post displays that!

The official handle of the team shared two photos and a clip from their locker room, which induced much laughter and a lighthearted reaction from the fans. The caption went, Locker room vibes are high.” In the clip, DeChambeau focused on Anirban Lahiri sleeping on the floor, completely wrapped up like a big old burrito.

The Crushers GC ended its first round with a score of 1 under. A total of 11 birdies and 13 bogeys were hit by all four team members. Courtesy of the team captain, Crushers had a double bogey at par 4–13. Paul Casey hit the team’s lowest round of 69 on the first day, and Charles Howell III shot 73, the highest. The second day, the team seemed pretty amped up, as their score just got tremendously better.

The number of birdies on Saturday went up to 16, and the number of bogeys came down to 6. Surprisingly, Howel III shot an eagle at par 5–18.  DeChambeau and Howell III carded 66, and Lahiri and Casey put 69 and 71 on the board. The team ended its second round with a remarkable score of 12 under. In total, it is -13 under before the third round commences.

The post gave an insight to the fans on how high the team spirit is and how fun skipper Bryson DeChambeau is. The golfer has often let out his fun side on and off the greens, and fans have always loved it. How could they not love it this time, right? Well, the post garnered a lot of attention on social media, and fans could not help but shower praise.

Anirban Lahiri’s sleeping photo is the new talk of the town

A fan jokingly wrote, @banstaa is the only one who has his priorities and life sorted out IMHO.” Lahiri shot 69 for his team on the third day. He hit 1 bogey and 3 birdies, and naturally, he had to sleep it off after such a tiring day of golf.

Someone else also looked rather hopeful for the upcoming round, which might seem fruitful for the Crushers GC if they play it right and continue the gameplay they displayed from 1 under to 12 under on Saturday. They stated, “We’re ready to go.

Yet another fan called Lahiri a “towel burrito ban 😭.” It is primarily because the golfer was seen covered with towels while sleeping on a towel and using another towel as a pillow.

Wrapped up in towels, the golfer sure looked extremely comfortable, and it did not go unnoticed. A fan lovingly wrote, “❤️ Ban looks comfy.”

“Hoping I can bring my wife and kiddos out this summer to come watch y’all!” a happy fan wrote. Although LIV Golf has mostly been on the receiving end of dislike, and nasty remarks, a few people out there still like to go out and watch their favorite LIV players tee it up.

Another fan noted Jon Rahm‘s Kobe 6 Protro Nikes, popularly known as the Reverse Grinches. They said, “Rahm rocking the reverse grinches is fire.” Standing 6’2 inches high, Jon Rahm has another aspect that gets spotlighted by the fans.
