After Defeating Her Inner Demons, LPGA Icon Jenny Shin Shares Final Verdict on Living a ‘Happy Life’

The realm of sports does demand a lot physically from an athlete. However, although the game of golf may not be as physically daunting as others, it can ask a lot of the golfer mentally. And a lot of players, including the likes of Jenny Shin, have persevered the same, going on to garner amazing achievements on the course.

The South Korean professional has been very vocal about her mental struggles of being a professional on the LPGA Tour. And, in an update on her social media handle, Shin has gone ahead to express her view on a certain opinion put forward by an entrepreneur, all the while disclosing her “take” on the same, surprising many!

The 31-year-old has just garnered a total of 2 wins in her professional career. However, the golfer has proven herself to be an amazing athlete and human being owing to her fight against her inner demons and coming out the other side victorious. And, on a similar line, the 1X LPGA Tour champ was spotted sharing some of what she learned through the years of her struggles on her Instagram.

A story was uploaded to her official social media platform where the South Korean pro shared a post by Alex Hormozi, an entrepreneur. The update talked about how she doesn’t agree with his opinion on how “people obsessed with their morning routines” earn less than those whose minds are filled with the thoughts of “making money.”

Adding on to her response, the 2016 Volunteers of America Texas Shootout champ indicated how not every person “needs to or wants to be a multimillionaire.” Moreover, she expressed how a person can do whatever they “need to do in the morning and still make good money,” all the while living a “happy life.” The golfer also didn’t forget to point out how she didn’t “think this is a hot take,” as she took a subtle jab at Hormozi despite usually liking what he has to say.

Well, this is not the first time that the professional has taken to her Instagram stories to express herself and the challenges she faced on the circuit.

In an update to her social media, a while back, the female pro revealed five struggles while playing on the Tour. Elaborating on the same, she said, mentioned how “Living out of a suitcase, dealing with air travel, not having a life routine, Jet Lag and not seeing family,” has been hard for her.

Nevertheless, the athlete was quick to convey how she is used to the sacrifices that need to be made while moving forward in the path of being a golfer. One can’t help but respect the professional as she strives forward in her march to achieve her dreams. Currently, the 31-year-old is just fresh out of a commendable performance at the Toto Japan Classic, scoring a 17-under 271 and finishing at T15.
