The golf world still remembers watching the 2021 PNC Championship for many reasons. First, it was the first time Tiger Woods played in a tournament since his accident. Second, the fans could see the talent of the next generation golfers, including Charlie Woods and John Daly II. 

It is not a secret that after watching the Woods duo and Daly duo’s incredible golfing, everyone in the golf world wants to see them play a match together. However, what surprised all was that John Daly II had the same feelings.

John Daly and his son beat Tiger Woods and his son in the 2021 PNC Championship!

Daly and Little John scored 15 under in the final round of the 36-hole event, finishing with an overall 27-under. The pair gained a lead with 9 birdies and an eagle through 12-holes.

Notably, the overall score of the Daly duo is a tournament record. They broke the record the American professional golfer Davis Love III and his son set three years ago.

Meanwhile, although they lost by 2-shots, Woods and his son played well. They set a tournament record with 11 straight birdies in the final round, making the Daly duo concerned for a moment. Notably, it was the 15-time major winning champion’s first time playing golf competitively after surviving a car accident in February 2021.

John Patrick Daly and Woods jr. have started playing junior golf. Notably, Daly has won his first championship already at the Sung Hyun Park Junior Championship with an overall score of 211.

He was also ranked 29 on the Rolex American Junior Golf Association rankings throughout August 2021. Meanwhile, the now 13-year-old Charlie Woods finished as a runner-up at the Walt Disney World Boys 11-13 section event
