Pablo Larrazabal’s sensational run at the KLM Open saw the golfer card rounds of 66-73-67-69 to lift his ninth DP World Tour title. The $340,000 winner’s payout wasn’t the only big thing Larrazabal took away from the win. In fact, his latest victory saw him climb 19 places up the Ryder Cup points list!

He currently sits in the 9th place on the European Points list. Meanwhile, fellow Spaniard Jon Rahm, sits at the top of the standings. The six golfers who automatically qualify for the event will be confirmed on September 3. Team Europe captain Luke Donald, will then get six captain’s picks to complete the team.

Per Larrazabal, Donald had reached out to him after the KLM Open win, saying that the golfer was currently on his radar! This is huge for Larrazabal, who may finally make his Ryder Cup dreams come true this year.
