We all heard the rumors of LIV Golf signing two recent PGA Tour winners. One of them was said to be Aldrich Potgieter, known for his excellent driving distance. Rumors escalated when he exited the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship early. The reason, though, was bad health. Somehow, Min Woo Lee’s name was associated with rumors, too. He shut those rumors down in a hysterical manner.

The 27-year-old shared a clip from Leonardo DiCaprio’s iconic speech from The Wolf of Wall Street on his Instagram. However, he pasted his face over the Oscar-winning actor, and changed some of the other characters’ faces to Tiger Woods, Brian Rolapp, Adam Scott, & the Australian flag.

As the speech continued, words like “I’m not leaving. I’m not leaving. I’m not f***ing leaving! The show goes on!” were said. The sarcastic clip showed ‘áudience’hugging each other. This isn’t the first time Lee has talked about not leaving. He made some strong statements a couple of days before, too.

“The show goes on!” said Min Woo Lee at Memorial Park as he beat Scottie Scheffler & Gary Woodland to win his first PGA Tour title. He captured the 2025 Texas Children’s Houston Open by 1 stroke after pretending to use AimPoint for a simple 2-foot putt on the 17th hole. That was enough to convince Scott O’Neil & Co. to consider him an appealing prospect for their roster in 2026, so rumors of him leaving for LIV caused quite a stir.

Lee’s hilarious approach to the announcement took everyone by surprise. And they reacted to it with laughter and joy.

Min Woo Lee ensures Max Homa & Co. have a reason to laugh while they learn about his status

If there is anyone who can pull off such a stunt despite being a professional golfer, it is certainly Min Woo Lee. Everyone was left with tears of laughter as they expressed their joy in the comments section. One of them was Michelle Wie West, who simply couldn’t hold her laughter as she commented, “🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.” Former LIV Golf pro, Nicolas Echavarria, also had the same reaction, “😂😂😂.” Another LPGA Tour star, Alison Lee, also wrote, “Ahaaa ahahaha😂😂😂😂.”

For a professional golfer to take such an approach to make an announcement was certainly unexpected. But knowing Lee, he is known to be an entertainer on and off the course. So, as surprising as it may have been, they would have assumed that it was the Australian pro who would have posted it.

Fellow PGA Tour pro, Rico Hoey, also found it to be hilarious. But rather than just leaving laughing emojis, he also wrote, “So good 😂.” Considering the number of laughs it garnered, like, the entire comments section is packed with ‘😂’ & ‘🤣’ reactions, it’s evident that Lee posted high-quality, hilarious content that brought the golf community together.

Popular YouTube & TikTok chef, Andy Hearnden, popularly known for his channel, Andy Cooks, ironically wrote, “LET HIM COOOOKKKKKK.” Even a professional chef took a step back when Min Woo Lee started cooking top meme content to announce his loyalty to the PGA Tour. No wonder it got everyone’s stomach aching with laughter.

Max Homa also probably found it hilarious, but he just left a like for the post.
