We wouldn’t say Billy Horschel had a bad season. He finished 9th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The 38-year-old also came close to competing for the 2025 Valspar Championship, ending the tournament three strokes behind Viktor Hovland at T4. But all that happened in the early part of the season, as after April, Horschel has been laboring with a hip injury. He did make a brief appearance in the DP World Tour after his return for a missed cut.

But now he is back on promoting a personal project.

In his latest Instagram story, Horschel shared glimpses of the APGA event that he is hosting this week. And he seemed quite excited about it. The 2025 Billy Horschel Invitational Presented by Cisco will be played from October 20-22, 2025, at the Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida. Horschel revealed that the Pro-Am event is being played on October 20. He also shared pictures of the polos by Ralph Lauren for the tournament and thanked the brand for providing the tops.

When is Billy Horschel going to return to the golf course?

It was great watching Billy Horschel make his return to the 2025 BMW PGA Championship to defend his title. He also traveled to Japan after that to play in the Baycurrent Classic a few days ago. But there was a gap of a month between the tournaments. While he may still be recovering from his injury, is this going to be the frequency at which Horschel will make his appearances on the fairway?

Well, it doesn’t seem that way. Turns out, the 8-time PGA Tour champion has already confirmed his next tournament. He is scheduled to play in the 2025 Bank of Utah Championship at the Black Desert Resort. Yes, Billy Horschel will be in Ivins, Utah, later this week to play in the $6 million event. And he will face tough competition from Jason Day, Max Homa, and the defending champion, Matt McCarty. So let’s see if he can deliver a good result.
