Phil Mickelson is one of the most talked-about players today and is always on the news for something spectacular. The six-time major winner made many records on the PGA Tour. But, Mickelson recently joined the Saudi-backed LIV Golf Invitational Series, leaving his PGA Tour days behind.

Unlike most players, who like to stay calm and composed before taking a shot, Mickelson likes to be on his nerve’s end while playing. He thinks being in a state of being on the edge allows him to play better than ever. He also stated that when he isn’t nervous, he gets complacent and doesn’t think sharply.

After being tied for 36th on Friday in his LIV Golf Round, Phil Mickelson’s mood didn’t change at all. The golfer’s signature thumbs up and looking for a fist bump habit was ever present. When a spectator asked him how he was doing, he replied: “Awesome” with a wide “Phil-Mickelson-Smile”.

Juggling hate or controversies is nothing new for the player. After his recently released biography, a huge bundle of questions were thrown at him by reporters in each interview he attended. But the man handled everything gracefully with a smile and didn’t let his guard down at all.
